Frequently Asked Questions
What is Seudenyu Music?
A home for Yiddish music — original recordings and covers, with lyrics — built with respect for the artists behind every song.
Is the music here licensed?
Yes. Recordings on the platform are licensed from artists and rights-holders or used with permission, and artists are paid for plays of their music.
Can I download songs?
No — the platform is for listening. Keeping the music on the platform is what allows us to pay the artists.
A song I love isn't here. Can I request it?
Yes! Tell us what you're missing — email Hello@seudenyu.com — and we'll do our best to bring it in.
I found a mistake in lyrics or song credits. Who do I tell?
Us, please! Email Hello@seudenyu.com with the song name and the correction — accurate credits matter to us.
Do my streaming credits expire?
Never. And unused credits are refundable — just reach out.
Where can I get a printed songbook of these songs?
That's our other half: custom.seudenyu.com — build a custom zemiros songbook, PDF or professionally printed.
